Maintenance Technician

Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the following areas of a continuous process: metal sheet roll forming, chemical composition and application, automated industrial band saws, industrial machine wrapping. This role will be a day shift schedule in our Mount Pleasant, Tennessee facility.

Responsibilities

· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment and machinery.

· Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.

· Troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, sensors, relays, VFDs, and control circuits.

· Repair and maintain mechanical systems including conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

· Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

· Install, modify, and upgrade equipment as needed.

· Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.

· Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.

· Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and environmental regulations.

· Work closely with production personnel to identify and solve equipment issues.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED

· 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

· Basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.

· Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively, work with a team, and take direction to achieve a common goal.

Preferences:

· Technical degree, trade school certification, or related maintenance training.

· Knowledge and experience with PLC-controlled equipment.

· Experience with welding and fabrication.

· Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Pay: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour
