Maintenance Technician

Landmark Property Management Group is a local property management company in the metro Detroit area that turns houses into homes! We are looking to partner with local contractors to complete maintenance projects quickly and professionally, ensuring that our residents get a quality home.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, carpentry, mechanical or electrical work as well as general property maintenance experience in a residential setting. The ideal candidate must be able to problem solve and meet project deadlines and must have own tools and source of transportation.

*Responsibilities*

• Independently complete routine maintenance repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or appliances.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management staff.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and longevity of property systems and equipment.
• Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with property management team to address maintenance issues and uphold property standards.
• Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

*Requirements*

• Carpentry, plumbing, electrical or mechanical knowledge
• Sufficient maintenance experience
• Ability to problem solve and meet deadlines
• Own tools and source of transportation
• Electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or other contractor's license through the State of Michigan if applicable
• Certificate of liability insurance if applicable

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
