Maintenance Technician

The Cottages on Lindberg is looking for an experienced, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team! We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and is committed to providing excellent service to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident maintenance requests efficiently and professionally.
• Perform general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and building maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance, property inspections, and apartment turnovers.
• Maintain community grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Identify and address maintenance and safety concerns.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor on projects and property improvements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience required, preferably in apartment or property maintenance.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building repairs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and proof of insurance required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• EPA, HVAC, or CPO certifications preferred.
