Maintenance Technician Electrical

Responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of 5-gallon water production equipment and plant utilities through effective preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance. The Maintenance Technician will perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting on production equipment and support the maintenance team in minimizing equipment downtime, improving reliability and maintaining continuous production.

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on 5-gallon bottle washing, filling and capping machines.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and injection mold systems.
• Conduct inspections and maintenance of bottle conveyor systems to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
• Troubleshoot machine sensors, actuators, valves, motors, drives and control systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repair work.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and workspaces.
• Assist with inventory management of parts and supplies.
• Report any unsafe conditions or hazards to the appropriate authorities.
• Follow standard operating procedures and manufacturer guidelines for equipment and building systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma / Higher Diploma / Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in bottled water, FMCG, food & beverage or manufacturing.
• Experience with 5-gallon water production equipment will be highly preferred.
• GMP, Food Safety, and HSE regulations
• Maintenance planning, capacity management, and cost control
• Lean manufacturing, OEE, and CI methodologies
• Strong practical electrical troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
