About the role

Homni (PH) Electronics Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electronics) to join our technical team on a full-time basis in Malvar, Batangas. This is a crucial role that ensures the smooth operation and longevity of our electronic equipment and systems. The position primarily focuses on audio electronics, including amplifiers and mixing consoles, as well as maintenance, analysis, and problem-solving during production processes. You will play an essential part in minimizing downtime, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting the company's commitment to delivering reliable electronic audio products. What you'll be doing

• Performing routine maintenance checks on electronic equipment and systems to identify potential issues before they become critical problems
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing electronic faults using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools such as multimeter, oscilloscope, and soldering iron.
• Repairing and replacing defective components, circuit boards, and electronic parts to restore audio equipment to full operational status.
• Conducting preventative maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of audio electronic systems and reduce unplanned breakdowns
• Testing repaired audio equipment to ensure it meets operational standards and safety requirements
• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and spare parts used
• Responding promptly to audio equipment failures and providing emergency repairs to minimize production disruptions
• Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure coordinated maintenance efforts
• Adhering to all safety protocols and company procedures whilst performing maintenance tasks
• Identifying and recommending improvements to maintenance processes and equipment reliability

What we're looking for

• Technical qualification or certification in electronics, electrical technology, or a related field from a recognized institution

• Minimum of 2–3 years' hands-on experience in maintenance or repair of electronic audio equipment and systems

• Proficiency in using electronic testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and circuit analyzers

• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and systems architecture

• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex electronic issues

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

• Able to understand the principle (circuit) diagrams of electronic products.

• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in electronics maintenance

• Preferred experience with audio equipment repair in electronics manufacturing or industrial settings
