Maintenance Technician-Experienced

Job Summary

PAY WILL BE DETERMINED BASED ON EXPERIENCE
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for equipment monitoring and control.
• Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist in maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Oversee and supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance as necessary.
• Engage in residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic standards of the facilities.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the organization.

Experience
Candidates should have a solid background in maintenance with experience in the following areas:

• MUST have STRONG knowledge of pools and pumps
• MUST be willing to be on call for emergencies
• MUST know drywall
• Electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Mechanical knowledge related to various equipment types
• Facilities maintenance practices
• Supervising experience in a similar environment
• Customer service skills to effectively interact with clients or tenants
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus
• Proficient use of tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
