Hideaway Lake Club is looking for a dependable, hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our Building & Maintenance Department.

This is not a position where you will do the same thing every day. Our maintenance team takes care of a large private community with roads, parks, lakes, buildings, recreational facilities, landscaping, equipment, and other community amenities.

We are looking for someone who already has basic maintenance, construction, landscaping, mechanical, or equipment experience and is willing to learn additional skills.

What You'll Do

Work may include:

• General building and facility maintenance
• Minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related work
• Road and asphalt repairs
• Landscaping, mowing, trimming, and tree work
• Painting and facility improvements
• Park and recreational facility maintenance
• Operating tractors, mowers, skid steers, and other equipment when qualified
• Assisting skilled maintenance technicians with larger repairs and projects
• Preventive maintenance and inspections
• Loading, hauling, and moving materials and equipment
• Maintaining clean and safe work areas
• Other maintenance projects throughout the community

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate:

• Has previous experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, mechanical work, or a related trade
• Is comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Can work independently after receiving instructions
• Takes pride in doing a job correctly
• Shows up on time and is dependable
• Is willing to work outdoors in Texas weather
• Works well as part of a team
• Is willing to learn new skills and take on different types of work
• Understands basic jobsite and equipment safety

Experience operating equipment such as tractors, skid steers, zero-turn mowers, trailers, or other construction/maintenance equipment is a plus.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license preferred
• Reliable transportation to work
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working outdoors
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Pay & Benefits
