Maintenance Technician - High End Residence

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Maintenance Technician to take care of the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of a high-end private residence in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a technician-level background with experience in construction, preferably M&E, and practical experience working in high-end residential properties or with high-end residential contractors. The role requires someone who is technically competent, presentable, discreet, and able to respond effectively to maintenance issues.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair works within the residence.
• Attend to day-to-day maintenance issues and ensure all facilities and equipment are kept in good working condition.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repair works involving air-conditioning, electrical systems, plumbing, piping, and other building services.
• Monitor the condition and performance of M&E systems and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Coordinate with external contractors and specialist service providers when more complex repairs or maintenance are required.
• Supervise contractors and ensure maintenance works are carried out properly and with minimal disruption to the residence.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, repairs, servicing, and replacement works.
• Ensure the residence is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and functionality.
• Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues when required.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion when working within a private residence.

About you

• Technician-level qualification or relevant technical qualifications & training.
• Solid practical experience in maintenance or M&E-related work.
• Experience with a construction company, preferably in M&E or building services.
• Experience working for or with a high-end residential contractor is highly preferred.
• Good practical knowledge of air-conditioning systems, basic electrical systems, plumbing and piping, and general building and M&E maintenance.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Clean, neat, presentable, and well-groomed appearance.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and able to coordinate effectively with contractors and service providers.
• Willing to work weekends and respond to urgent maintenance requirements when necessary.
