Maintenance Technician /Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician /Housekeeper to join our team. The Maintenance Technicican /Housekeeping Staff is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the facility.

This position plays a crucial role in providing a pleasant environment for residents, guests, and employees by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Routine Cleaning Tasks

• Perform routine janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing.
• Clean and maintain bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas.

Facility Inspections & Maintenance

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report immediate maintenance needs.
• Perform both indoor and outdoor upkeep, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, routine pressure washing of exterior surfaces, indoor and outdoor trash removal.

Systems Oversight & Minor Repairs

• Monitor electrical systems and perform basic troubleshooting or minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures and address minor leaks or drainage issues.
• Inspect HVAC systems, replace air filters, and report functional inefficiencies.

Safety and Sanitation:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Utilize proper cleaning agents and equipment to maintain hygienic conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is preferred; experience in a hospital setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
• Knowledge of maintenance and housekeeping management practices is beneficial.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
