Maintenance Technician - Injection Molding - 3rd shift

Shift work hours (start/end time): 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

EMUS is seeking a 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Molding Maintenance Tech to support our fast-paced Toner Molding manufacturing operations in Lawrenceville, GA. The Molding Maintenance Tech will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust equipment for Injection, Blow, and Injection/Stretch/Blow Molding lines. This includes molds, molded parts assembly lines, and equip

Responsibilities:

• Model the "safety first" behaviors we expect of all associates by ensuring that operational procedures,
  equipment, and processes are designed to provide a safe work environment.
• Performed electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in the molding and assembly processes.
• Perform operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
• Perform product (tooling) changeovers.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, assemble, and rebuild equipment, electronic systems, circuitry, and computerized systems.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance of all molding equipment and parts assembly lines, including molds, robots, conveyors, dry toner fillers, and auxiliary and support equipment.
• Maintain logs and records used in recording, tracking, and improving equipment's overall operation, as well as maintaining Standards of Operation and Procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation of work (Work orders, PM check sheets, part usage, etc.

Experience

Required

• You must train on the first shift for several months before transitioning to your assigned shift.
• 1 year(s): Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• 1 year(s): Use of hand tools (Allen wrenches, multi-meter, among others).
• 2 year(s): Experience with lockout/tagout procedures.
• 2 year(s): Experience in injection mold maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• 2 year(s): Experience in plastic forming processes.
• Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals, and engineering sketches.
• Basic math and computer skills required fractions as ell as good English communication skills.
• Must be available to work overtime, including some weekends.

Preferred

• 3 year(s): Experience with PLC, welding, and machining.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000.
