Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that store facilities and equipment are in good working condition through regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs. This role oversees maintenance of refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and building systems while supporting store operations and coordinating with engineers and contractors for technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on store equipment such as refrigeration units, air-conditioning systems, and electrical systems
• Conduct inspections and ensure all facilities and equipment are operational before store opening
• Carry out repairs and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, and facility-related issues
• Maintain and monitor preventive maintenance schedules (daily, monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and internal departments for maintenance-related activities
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and completion of maintenance checklists
• Manage and inventory tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
• Conduct minor construction and facility repairs such as plumbing, repainting, tiling, and structural fixes
• Generate inspection and accomplishment reports for all maintenance activities
• Assist in store opening/closing and ensure readiness of facilities for daily operations

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 3-year technical course, TESDA certification, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 6 months of relevant work experience in maintenance or technical support
• Knowledge in refrigeration, air-conditioning, and electrical systems
• Skills in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment
• Basic knowledge of construction, plumbing, and building maintenance
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple technical tasks
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious

Pay: Php14,000.00 - Php16,000.00 per month
