What they need

A Maintenance Technician at Wilderness Presidential Resort is responsible for maintaining the overall functionality, safety, and appearance of the resort’s facilities, grounds, and guest accommodations. This role supports daily resort operations by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting repair issues, and ensuring guests and owners receive prompt and professional service.

Key responsibilities include completing a wide range of building maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, and general upkeep of resort facilities. Maintenance Technicians respond to guest and owner service requests in a timely manner, diagnose problems, and perform repairs to ensure a comfortable and safe environment throughout the property.

Technicians also assist with maintaining outdoor areas by removing debris, supporting landscaping efforts, and helping keep common areas clean and presentable. The position may require moving heavy equipment or materials, assisting with special maintenance projects, setting up for events, and supporting other departments as needed to maintain smooth resort operations.

In addition to technical responsibilities, Maintenance Technicians are expected to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, report maintenance concerns, and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment. They organize daily assignments efficiently, follow resort safety policies and safe work practices, and participate in required training programs and staff development meetings to improve skills and maintain operational standards.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, time management skills, physical stamina, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in a hospitality-focused environment.
