Job Overview

Spacez is looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to maintain our villas and residential properties. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in electrical work, plumbing, basic AC repairs, and general maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring that our properties remain safe, functional, well-maintained, and ready to welcome guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Maintenance: Identify and resolve basic electrical issues, including problems with lights, switches, and electrical fittings.
• Plumbing: Handle plumbing repairs involving taps, pipes, water supply, drainage, and leakages.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of ACs, geysers, UPS systems, water pumps, and other essential utilities.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine property inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Complaint Resolution: Respond to maintenance requests promptly and complete repairs within the expected timelines.
• Property Upkeep: Ensure that all maintenance-related systems and equipment remain functional and safe.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with villa caretakers and external service providers for repairs requiring specialist support.
• Record Keeping: Maintain records of inspections, repairs, maintenance schedules, and completed tasks.
• Emergency Support: Attend urgent maintenance calls when required.
• Multi-Property Support: Travel between Spacez properties as needed to carry out inspections and maintenance work.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance, repair, or technical operations.
• Practical knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and basic AC repairs.
• Familiarity with geysers, UPS systems, water pumps, and general residential maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools and basic safety procedures.
• Ability to prioritize urgent issues and manage preventive maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to travel between properties and respond to emergency calls when required.
• Basic smartphone skills for sharing work updates, photographs, and task status.
• ITI certification or a relevant technical qualification is preferred.
• Experience in villas, hotels, serviced apartments, or residential property maintenance is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable, safety-conscious, and takes ownership of maintenance issues from identification to resolution. The candidate should be comfortable working independently while coordinating effectively with caretakers, vendors, and the operations team.
