Maintenance Technician- On-site

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You must be motivated to perform general maintenance work, including cleaning, lawn care, snow removal, painting, and repairs at 50-unit apartment complex in Kingston, and 45-unit complex in Newton, New Hampshire. Travel between the two properties is required. Your expertise will help create a comfortable living environment for our residents while supporting the overall upkeep of our facilities.

Duties

• Perform general maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment.
• Inspect and general understanding of mechanical systems, such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• General understanding of plumbing systems.
• Perform general carpentry work.
• Maintain grounds, including lawn care, snow removal, and landscaping.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Log work hours and submit POs through online portal.
• Tenant relations experience.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance activities to protect residents and staff.
• Assist with notifications and recertification distribution to tenants.
• Time will be split between Kingston and Newton, NH

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED Required
• 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Strong problem-solving, de-escalating, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize mulitple maintenance requests
• Ability to safely lift, carry, climb, bend, kneel, and work in various facility enviornments
• Must be willing to work onsite and (work assigned shifts/weekends/on-call
