Maintenance Technician (production)

Required Skills

• Experience in operating automated industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of motor repair and replacement.
• Electrical installation and troubleshooting.
• Welding skills.
• Experience with crusher equipment is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to achieve production targets.
• Develop production schedules and allocate resources efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot production-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, quality requirements, housekeeping (5S), and work-in-progress inventory control.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities within the production facility.
• Assist in reviewing and improving quality systems, procedures, and standards to meet customer and company expectations.
• Operate and monitor scrubber and bag filter systems after completing the required competency training.
• Maintain accurate operational records and ensure environmental control equipment functions effectively.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management when required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of automated production equipment and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Able to work independently while leading a production team to achieve operational goals.
