Maintenance Technician/Carpenter

As a maintenance technician, you are a critical member of our team who can solve a problem for our customers, to keep them happy and satisfied by ensuring requests and repairs are made in a reliable, timely and safe manner. Maintenance Technicians are accountable for identifying and resolving problems, completing service requests, and making repairs in accordance with operating and safety standards.

As a maintenance technician at Building and Grounds Maintenance, you are the face of our company, and it is your responsibility to bring your A-game every day. Here at BGM we take pride in delivering high quality results in every aspect of our business.

A BGM Maintenance Technician will take pride in serving others and delivering caring and professional experience to our customers and your fellow team members.

Pay range is $22 - $28 per hour (based on experience)

This is a Full-time position, Monday – Friday, weekends as needed.

Job Duties Include but not limited to:

Interior Maintenance

• Minor electrical repairs (outlets, switches, lighting)
• Light bulb replacements
• Ceiling tile replacements
• Drywall repairs (holes, cracks, water damage)
• Door & lock repairs
• Painting touch-ups & maintenance
• Fixture replacements (sinks, toilets, faucets)

Exterior Maintenance

• Exterior painting & touch-ups
• Fence repairs
• Exterior lighting maintenance
• Signage repairs & maintenance
• Pressure washing exterior surfaces

Experience and Education:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a High School degree, GED or equivalent.
• One year’s experience is preferred. However, we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Must have a working knowledge of the materials, equipment, tools and methods needed to be a successful maintenance technician.
• Current & Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and clean driving record for past 3 years.
• Proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.
