Maintenance Technician – Austin, TX 78754

Pay: $25.50/hr W2
Shift: 6:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday OR Tuesday–Friday

Job Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to maintain and troubleshoot chemical, gas, slurry, and facility equipment supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chemical, gas, and slurry systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment, leaks, and distribution systems.
• Support equipment startup, commissioning, and repairs.
• Read and interpret P&IDs/PFDs.
• Perform LOTO and follow all safety procedures.
• Document maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service activities.
• Identify parts, tools, and materials needed for repairs.
• Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance or skilled trades experience.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance, plumbing, welding, oil field, or equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work in an industrial/semiconductor environment.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork.

Preferred:

• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• P&ID/PFD experience.
• Plumbing or UHP gas/chemical system experience.
• Equipment startup/commissioning experience.
• Trade/vocational training or technical degree.
• Semiconductor or chemical manufacturing experience.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk 3–6 miles/day, climb ladders up to 12 ft, lift up to 40 lbs, and work with required PPE.

Ideal Candidate:
A mechanically skilled, safety-focused Maintenance Technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience with industrial equipment, piping, plumbing, controls, or distribution systems.

Pay: Up to $25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
