Maintenance Trainee

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior maintenance engineers in preventive and breakdown maintenance of press-shop equipment.
• Learn and perform routine inspection of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting machine breakdowns and identifying basic faults.
• Check machine conditions such as oil level, lubrication, leakage, abnormal noise, vibration, and temperature.
• Assist in maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic presses.
• Support maintenance of motors, gearboxes, pumps, cylinders, valves, sensors, and conveyors.
• Assist in checking electrical panels, switches, sensors, limit switches, and control circuits under supervision.
• Follow preventive-maintenance schedules and complete maintenance checklists.
• Record machine breakdowns, maintenance activities, and downtime.
• Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for repeated machine failures.
• Support spare-parts identification and maintain basic spare-parts records.
• Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), PPE, machine safety, and EHS procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow 5S practices in the press shop.
• Coordinate with production operators during maintenance activities.
• Participate in TPM and continuous-improvement activities.
• Learn the operation and maintenance requirements of different press-shop machines.

Pay: ₹10,656.11 - ₹15,000.00 per month
