Maintenance Worker

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Worker to join our POA team. The ideal candidate will perform routine upkeep of the community’s buildings, grounds, and common areas to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.)
• Maintain landscaping and outdoor areas (mowing, trimming, leaf removal)
• Plowing & salting experience required
• Inspect community facilities and report any issues or safety hazards
• Assist with setup and breakdown of community events as needed
• Respond promptly to work orders and resident maintenance requests
• Ensure tools, equipment, and supplies are properly maintained

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities, or a similar role preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license required & reliable form of transportation

Schedule & Pay:

• Full-time position
• Requires mandatory availability as needed for emergencies and inclement weather
• Pay based on experience
• Stipend available after 1 year of employment
• PTO after 90 day probationary period

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
