Maintenance Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on groundskeeping and landscaping equipment, including power tools and irrigation systems.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming trees, pruning plants, and managing hardscape features to uphold visual appeal.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to prevent water waste.
• Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to support horticultural health and landscape design objectives.
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to maintain healthy plant growth while minimizing environmental impact.
• Execute groundskeeping duties including lawn care, gardening, planting new flora, and maintaining outdoor aesthetics.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Experience

• Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of grounds maintenance and landscaping practices.
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating and repairing groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, irrigation controllers, and power tools.
• Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management techniques.
• Experience in landscape installation or hardscape work is a plus.
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while handling outdoor tools and equipment.
• Prior experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is highly desirable.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
