Job Description:
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and overall condition of our retirement home facilities. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing routine maintenance of buildings and equipment (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, minor carpentry)
• Addressing urgent repair needs in a timely and efficient manner
• Conducting regular inspections of common areas and resident rooms
• Coordinating with external contractors when specialized services are required
• Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in work areas and mechanical rooms

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in property management or facility maintenance, preferably within a healthcare or residential setting
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in residential environments is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
