Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet care to ensure a pristine environment.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs efficiently.
• Handle maintenance duties including cleaning property, watering plants, cleaning the pool, helping with repairs that need to be fixed on the property, cleaning guest rooms and fixing appliances.
• Conduct routine inspections of rooms and common areas to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects such as deep cleans or industrial cleaning tasks as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet quality standards and guest satisfaction expectations.
• Support hotel management with housekeeping management duties when needed, including inventory control and scheduling assistance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles preferred; hotel experience is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and custodial practices across various environments including industrial settings.
• Familiarity with fixing and repairing appliances.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Prior experience in maintenance management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required. Pay: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour
