Chuckwalla Valley Raceway (CVR) hosts a wide variety of motorsports events, from track days to professional racing events. We pride ourselves on providing a top-notch experience for our guests and racers, and we're looking for a dedicated Maintenance Worker to help keep our facility in peak condition.

Job Description:
As a Maintenance Worker at CVR, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our track and facilities are always ready for action. You'll handle a mix of hands-on work across the property — from track surface repair and small engine work to janitorial duties and cabin upkeep.

Compensation provided for commuters from the Coachella Valley and Blythe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform track repair and upkeep, including patching asphalt, maintaining curbing and runoff areas, and keeping the racing surface safe and race-ready.
• Perform small engine repair and maintenance on mowers, blowers, generators, golf carts, and other powered equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the pit area, garages, and other facility structures.
• Handle small household repairs in on-site cabins and buildings — plumbing fixtures, lighting, doors, locks, and general fix-it work.
• Perform janitorial duties, including restrooms, trash removal, and keeping common areas clean for guests and racers.
• Perform landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, and irrigation maintenance.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event-related equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address potential issues.
• Operate various tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the track meets safety standards.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
