Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facility. The ideal candidate will have outdoor and indoor work experience and be capable of handling diverse repair and upkeep responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Perform indoor maintenance tasks, including wall patching, wall painting, and floor buffing to maintain the aesthetic and structural integrity of the building.
• Conduct plumbing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure proper functioning of water systems.
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and address issues promptly.
• Utilize appropriate tools and equipment safely and efficiently for various repair tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment during all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs and upkeep projects effectively.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, fire safety, generator tests and logs, repairs performed, and materials used.

Skills

• Proven work experience with a focus on maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, flooring, and plumbing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to maintenance work.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Good physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues effectively.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all repair activities.
