PURPOSE OF JOB:

Kretek International, Inc. is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team in Moorpark. In this role, you will perform a variety of semi-skilled facilities and grounds maintenance duties across three corporate buildings.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Facility Upkeep: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building interiors and exteriors.

· Handyman Trades: Handle basic tasks involving electrical, plumbing, and painting workflows.

· Groundskeeping: Maintain company gardens and outdoor landscaping areas as needed.

· Safety Compliance: Work in a safe manner, proactively identify hazards, and take appropriate action to ensure a safe environment for all employees.

· Ad-Hoc Support: Complete other operational tasks as assigned by the department management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

· High School graduate or equivalent

Experience:

· Experience: Prior maintenance experience within a commercial or corporate environment is highly preferred.

· Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing functions.

· Safety Awareness: Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices is a plus.

· Aptitude: A strong desire to learn, grow, and build a solid career foundation within the company.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, turn, and twist for extended periods.

· Ability to reach above, at, or below waist height.

· Ability to manipulate both large and small hand/power tools.

· Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions (ranging from 30°F to 110°F).

· Safety Commitment: The incumbent must be able to perform all job functions safely without endangering the health and safety of themselves or others.

· Supervisory Scope: This position currently has no direct reports or supervisory responsibilities.
