Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: 3 days per week (Monday–Friday schedule to be determined)
On-Call Requirement: Must be available to respond to maintenance emergencies on weekends as needed.

Position Summary

Slick City Action Park is seeking a dependable, hardworking Maintenance Worker to help keep our facility clean, safe, and operating at its best. This position is responsible for performing general building maintenance, completing repairs, maintaining the appearance of the facility, and ensuring all equipment and areas are in excellent condition for our guests and team members.

This is a part-time position working three days per week with the expectation that the selected candidate will be on call during weekends to respond to urgent maintenance issues or facility emergencies when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
• Touch up and repaint walls, doors, railings, and other surfaces as needed.
• Repair broken fixtures, furniture, equipment, and building components.
• Complete preventative maintenance to ensure the facility remains in excellent condition.
• Inspect the building regularly and identify maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of both indoor and outdoor areas.
• Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, filters, and other building materials.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs within skill level.
• Assemble, install, and move equipment or furniture as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management.
• Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and storage areas organized.
• Be available for on-call weekend emergency maintenance when necessary.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other maintenance and facility upkeep duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, handyman, facilities, or building maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to respond to weekend maintenance calls when on call.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working both indoors and outdoors.
