Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, safety awareness, and the ability to troubleshoot various issues efficiently. The Maintenance Worker plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, functional, and clean environment for all staff and visitors.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs.
• Conduct inspections on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other mechanical equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
• Assist with installation of new equipment or fixtures as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during work activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in building maintenance, repair, or related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general carpentry skills is highly desirable.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation between sites or facilities.
• Commitment to safety standards and procedures at all times.
• DZ license to assist with picks ups and deliveries between the winery and offsite warehouse would be an asset.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
