Maintenance Worker

The Karr Group is hiring skilled, dependable Maintenance team members supporting several of Killington’s most popular hospitality properties.

About the Role
As part of our Maintenance Team, you’ll help ensure all properties are clean, safe, and fully functional. This hands-on job involves working across seven locations, maintaining both indoor and outdoor areas to create a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and basic repairs across Karr Group properties.
• Complete minor repairs to building fixtures, doors, hardware, and other facility components.
• Assist with general upkeep of buildings, common areas, and surrounding grounds.
• Perform landscaping and groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, weeding, and seasonal property maintenance.
• Remove snow and ice from walkways, entrances, and other areas as needed, including applying salt and other de-icing materials.
• Operate and maintain basic maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and power tools.
• Remove debris, empty trash receptacles, and maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for maintenance needs, safety concerns, and items requiring repair, and report issues as appropriate.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition.
• Assist with additional maintenance tasks and general operational support across Karr Group properties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and manage time effectively.
• Experience using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all seasonal environments.
• Physically capable of performing heavy work and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must be available to work weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license required.
