We are looking for a dependable and motivated hotel maintenance personnel team member to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Calgary North.

In this role, you will help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and keeping a property running smoothly, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, furniture, and equipment.
• Inspect building systems and equipment to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and team members.
• Complete preventative maintenance and accurately document work orders.
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all health, safety, and hotel brand standards.
• Assist with emergencies and support hotel safety procedures as required.
• Work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general hotel maintenance, building maintenance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive, helpful attitude.
• Hotel experience and previous customer service or guest-facing experience are considered assets.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and maintaining a high standard of property presentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
