Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills in facilities maintenance, electrical work, and customer service. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and operational. Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills in English are essential for interacting with clients and team members.

Duties

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on various systems within the facility, including electrical systems.
• Fabricate components as needed to support maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Lead small teams on specific projects or tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
• Weld components as necessary for repairs or fabrication projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to perform electrical repairs.
• Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in welding techniques is desirable but not mandatory.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
