Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing maintenance requests, preparing vacant apartments for move-ins, and ensuring the property is maintained in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including repairs and make-ready work.
• Inspect and maintain property grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine property inspections.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally.
• Assist with other property maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for maintenance emergencies.
