Maintenance Person

Tui Lifecare, Papakura, Auckland 2110|  Mon- Fri I Full-time (35 hours)

Tui Lifecare in 2-6 Trentham Road, Papakura, Auckland 2110, part of the New Zealand Aged Care Services (NZACS) group, is looking for a practical, reliable Maintenance Person to help keep our facility safe, comfortable, and well presented for residents, staff, and visitors.

About the role

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance across the facility, including plumbing, minor electrical, painting, and carpentry.

• Complete regular health and safety checks, including fire and call bell systems, in line with facility schedules.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.

• Maintain building exteriors, car parks, and equipment in good working order.

• Support contractors on larger projects and help maintain compliance records.

• Assist with moving furniture and equipment, and general facility upkeep.

About you

• Practical trade skills or solid all-round maintenance/handyperson experience.

• A proactive, safety-conscious approach and good problem-solving skills.

• Full, clean New Zealand driver's licence.

• Comfortable working around residents in a healthcare environment.
