Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Maintenance/Janitorial professional to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing a variety of custodial and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Handle chemical agents safely following established safety protocols to ensure proper sanitation without hazards.
• Conduct light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing fixtures, and assisting with minor repairs around the facility**.**
• Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy items or equipment to prevent injury during manual handling tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other designated spaces consistently throughout shifts.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.Skills
• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning practices.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all chemical handling safety procedures.
• Skilled in operating various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards and facility maintenance requirements.
• Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling with an emphasis on safe lifting practices.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed.
• Experience with residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus but not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
