Maintenance Technician/Make Ready Technician

Vatterott Properties has been managing properties for over 60 years. We currently manage 16 residential communities consisting of 540+ units (apartments, town homes, single family homes & condominiums), as well as multiple commercial office and retail centers in St. Louis City, St. Louis County & St. Charles County.

We are seeking technicians to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of electrical, plumbing & make ready tasks with quality workmanship and efficiency. Successful candidate must own a set of basic hand tools.

Schedule: Mon – Fri (7:30 am – 4:00 pm) & On Call rotation for emergencies

Responsibilities:

· Electrical, plumbing & appliance repairs & installations

· Handyman skills - window, door & lock repairs & installations

· Make ready tasks (drywall, painting and carpentry)

· HVAC troubleshooting/preventative maintenance

· Grounds maintenance, clean outs & bulk trash removal

Requirements:

· High School diploma, vocational school training a plus

· One-year residential maintenance experience

· Work order software (Corrigo a plus)

· Strong work ethic & excellent customer service

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

· Motor vehicle record check, drug screening & background screening

Salary: Based on job knowledge, experience and certifications
