Maintenance/Terminal Supervisor

About the role

Global Terminals and Development Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance/Terminal Supervisor to join our team at Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our terminal facilities. As Maintenance/Terminal Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations and supervise staff to maintain the highest standards of facility management, safety, and operational excellence. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering world-class commercial property management and terminal services.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage maintenance teams to ensure all terminal facilities are maintained to the highest operational standards
• Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities across all terminal areas and equipment
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the terminal environment
• Monitor and inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance issues and implement timely solutions
• Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and optimise resource allocation
• Supervise staff scheduling, training, and performance management to maintain a highly skilled maintenance team
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations and coordinate rapid resolution to minimise operational disruption
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and generate reports on facility condition and work completed
• Collaborate with terminal operations teams to ensure maintenance activities support overall business objectives
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols across all maintenance operations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Must have strong knowledge of construction, civil works, and building maintenance, including structural, concrete, masonry, roofing, plumbing, drainage, electrical, and other facility-related works.
• Experience in property, building, warehouse, or facility maintenance is highly preferred.
• Must be capable of assessing the condition of buildings, warehouses, piers, roads, drainage systems, and other GTI facilities and identifying necessary repairs or improvements.
• Must be able to supervise and coordinate contractors, construction workers, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
• Knowledge in construction materials, repair methods, cost estimates, and basic quantity surveying is an advantage.
• Ability to inspect ongoing construction and repair works and ensure that work is completed according to specifications, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
• Must be able to prepare maintenance reports, inspection reports, work requests, and documentation for property and facility-related activities.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and supervisory skills.
• Must be willing to conduct regular site inspections and fieldwork within GTI properties and facilities.
• Knowledge of occupational safety and construction safety practices is required.
• Preferably with at least 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, civil works, property maintenance, facility management, or a related field.
