Maintenance/Tooling Change Technician

Job Scope:

As a member of the BRC Maintenance Team, the Maintenance Technician will assist the maintenance department to ensure the smooth running of operations to create a high-quality product. This position participates in the installation, repair, and upkeep of the plant’s building and equipment. General mechanical knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with the Maintenance Supervisor to complete projects and work orders efficiently and in a timely manner
• Perform basic mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting of production machines
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and make adjustments as needed
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and production equipment
• Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service
• Participate in coordination of expansion/reorganization projects
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Job Skills:

• Attention to detail with a sense of urgency
• Self-starter dedicated to continuous quality improvement
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Multi-tasking and shifting from one job to the next with confidence
• Mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
