Position: Professional Makeup Artist
Department: Beauty Salon
Reports to: Salon Manager

Job Purpose

To provide high-quality professional makeup services, ensuring client satisfaction, excellent hygiene standards, and a luxury beauty experience in line with the salon’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Makeup Services
• Provide professional makeup for everyday occasions, parties, engagements, weddings, photoshoots, and special events.
• Perform bridal and glamorous makeup looks according to clients’ preferences.
• Offer personalized consultations to understand clients’ needs, skin types, and desired looks.
• Recommend suitable makeup styles, products, and techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest makeup trends, techniques, and beauty products.
• Client Service
• Welcome clients professionally and provide personalized beauty consultations.
• Maintain excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Ensure clients are satisfied with the final results.
• Recommend additional salon services and suitable beauty products when appropriate.
• Hygiene and Sanitation
• Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards for all makeup tools and products.
• Clean and sanitize brushes, applicators, and workstations after every client.
• Ensure products are stored properly and monitor expiry dates.
• Follow all salon health, safety, and hygiene policies.
• Salon Operations
• Keep the makeup station clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Manage makeup products and report low stock or damaged items to the manager.
• Follow the salon’s booking schedule and ensure punctual service delivery.
• Support promotional campaigns, photoshoots, and salon events when required.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Sales and Performance
• Contribute to achieving individual and salon revenue targets.
• Promote makeup packages, bridal services, and relevant beauty products.
• Support client retention through professional service and repeat bookings.
• Follow salon pricing, payment, and service procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a professional makeup artist.
• Strong knowledge of makeup application techniques, skin preparation, color matching, and different skin types.
• Experience in party, evening, bridal, and special-occasion makeup.
• Knowledge of professional makeup brands and products.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage appointments, and meet client expectations.
• A portfolio of previous makeup work is preferred.
• Relevant professional certification is an advantage.

Working Conditions

• Work according to the salon’s assigned shifts and schedule.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and during peak periods as required.
• Follow all salon policies, procedures, and management instructions.

• Client satisfaction and repeat bookings.
• Quality and consistency of makeup services.

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
