Preferred Worker: Male Support Worker
Aussie Life Care is seeking a reliable, compassionate and experienced male Support Worker to provide community access support to a participant in Narre Warren.
Available Shifts:
- Wednesday: 4:00 PM–7:00 PM or 5:00 PM–8:00 PM
- Sunday: 2:00 PM–5:00 PM
About the Participant:
The participant has a learning disability, Tourette’s syndrome, ASD and ADD. He has a small therapy dog and currently works with a predominantly male support team.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting people with disabilities, neurodiversity, complex behaviours or mental health needs is preferred.
- Patient, reliable and professional, with the ability to build positive rapport and encourage independence.
- Able to maintain professional boundaries and respond calmly and appropriately to challenging situations.
