About the Opportunity**We have immediate opportunities for Male Support Workers to join our team in Goonellabah, NSW. If you're passionate about providing truly quality, individualised support, this is your chance to be a part of a great support worker team.

We’re looking for staff with the right values to enrich the lives of our clients. We need committed staff who have flexible availability, including a willingness to work a variety of hours, such as mornings, afternoons, weekends and overnight shifts. We are also looking for male staff who are confident, calm and patient and who have experience in managing behaviours of concern.

Due to the participant's background, only Male Support Workers are required for this position.This is recognised as a genuine discrimination exemption andoccupation qualificationand is authorised under***(Part 3, Division 2, Section 31 (1), (2) (a-i), (3) & (4) of the* NEW SOUTH WALES Anti-Discrimination Act 1977).**

About You

To set the benchmark standard of services, we seek likeminded support workers that uphold and represent our core values: Integrity, Empathy, Creative, Inspire, Mindfulness & Bold.

In addition to our values, our support staff require mandatory compliance:

• Male Support Workers Only
• Experience supporting and managing participants with behaviours of concern.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card (Mandatory).
• 12 months or more experience as a Disability Support Worker.
• Relevant qualification (minimum Certificate III in Disability or related industry)
• Driver’s Licence & Car with Comprehensive Insurance.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain (we can provide training)
• Medication Administration Certificate or willing to obtain (we can provide training)
• Flexible availability & commitment to an ongoing roster of support.
