Mall Manager

About the role

A Mall Manager is responsible for delivering profitable, safe, and sustainable shopping center operations by overseeing day-to-day property management, building relations with commercial tenants, and implementing strategies to drive visitor foot traffic.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day mall functions to meet revenue targets, control operating expenses, and maintain P&L (Profit and Loss) performance
• Manage tenant mix, zoning, lease negotiations, onboarding/offboarding, and long-term retailer relationships to drive high occupancy and foot traffic
• Oversee engineering, housekeeping, security, utility systems, maintenance schedules, and capital repair projects
• Direct local marketing plans, promotional calendars, seasonal decor, social media engagement, and community events
• Ensure adherence to local government ordinances, fire safety codes, environmental standards, and occupational health and safety (OHS) laws
• Build, mentor, and evaluate property management, security, and administrative teams

About you

• 8 - 15 years of progressive experience in commercial real estate, retail management, or mall operations
• Bachelor's/College Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Food Services/Operations Management, or equivalent
