We’re hiring: Maltese Language Experts (Remote, Freelance)

iMerit Scholars is looking for Maltese speakers based in Malta to join an AI data annotation project.

What you’ll do:

🔹 Identify and tag Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in text

🔹 Tag PII in raw audio recordings

🔹 Tag PII in audio transcript snippets

🔹 Label images using bounding boxes

What we’re looking for:

✅ Fluency in Maltese

✅ Strong command of English

✅ Based in Malta

✅ High attention to detail and comfort working with sensitive data

✅ Reliable internet connection and a laptop/desktop

➕ Prior experience in data annotation, transcription, linguistics or content review is a plus, but not required (training is provided)
