Malware - Site Reliability Engineer - AWS, IaC, Orchestration

Description Join a team responsible for the reliability, performance, and scalability of a mission-critical platform. Design and implement automation, monitor infrastructure health, and troubleshoot production issues across AWS environments. Work closely with development teams to improve system stability, resiliency, and operational efficiency. Support modern engineering practices that reduce manual effort and strengthen service delivery.

• Experience troubleshooting Docker based distributed systems
• Experience improving reliability through automation and operational discipline
• Commitment to security, resilience, and continuous improvement

This position allows for partial telework. Clearance Any level of clearance is preferred. Candidate can also be sponsored under this position, must be clearable.

Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years' experience.

Required Skills

• Eight (8) years demonstrated experience in application design and development, to include experience with back- end database architectures, relational or cloud-based, and full lifecycle software development.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
• Experience with infrastructure as code using CloudFormation
• Strong Linux or Unix administration and scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices

Desired Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience using GitLab for source control and workflow management
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Experience around OpenSearch, RDS and CloudWatch.
• Experience around Docker Swarm, in particular monitoring and logging practices.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Benefits Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $150,000 - $200,000.
