We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mammography Technologist to join our growing healthcare team. This is a flexible 1099 independent contractor opportunity for a technologist looking to work part-time while choosing shifts that fit their availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography examinations accurately and efficiently while obtaining high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process clearly.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and address questions or concerns throughout the procedure.
• Operate mammography and other diagnostic imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow all applicable radiation safety, patient care, and infection-control protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient and examination documentation.
• Work professionally and collaboratively with physicians, imaging center staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Active California Mammography License
• Current ARRT (M) certification
• Current BLS Certification
• Previous mammography experience preferred
• Strong patient-care and communication skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
