Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures with precision, adhering to safety protocols and clinical standards.
• Prepare patients for imaging exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
• Operate digital mammography equipment, including BDM (Breast Density Measurement) technology, to acquire high-quality images for diagnostic review.
• Review images for clarity and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal results.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare team members to facilitate accurate diagnosis and follow-up care.
• Stay current with advancements in mammography techniques, safety standards, and technological innovations to continually improve service quality.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Mammography Technologist or Breast Imaging Technologist in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to breast health and diagnostic imaging.
• Certification or licensure as required by local regulatory bodies for mammography technologists.
• Familiarity with digital imaging systems, including BDM technology, is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to ensure patient comfort and understanding.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.

Pay: $43.00-$50.84 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 37.0 per week
