Management Accountant

About the Role:
We are looking for a Management Accountant to support financial reporting, budgeting and day-to-day financial control. You will turn financial information into clear reports that help management understand performance, control costs and make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Monitor budgets, expenditure and financial performance.
• Analyse variances and investigate differences between actual and budgeted results.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting procedures.
• Prepare cash-flow forecasts and assist with financial planning.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with VAT, tax and statutory reporting requirements.
• Provide financial information and analysis to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
• Work closely with operational teams to monitor costs and business performance.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in accounting, finance or management accounting.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification is advantageous.

Pay: £3,500.00-£3,700.00 per month

Work Location: In person
