The role of Management Accountant (Systems) in the services industry focuses on optimising financial systems to support efficient reporting and decision-making processes. This temporary position offers a role to contribute to the enhancement of accounting and finance systems as well as BAU Accounting work & other process improvement projects.

A publicly listed services organisation is seeking a Management Accountant (Systems) to join its high-performing finance team.

Description

The Management Accountant (Systems) will be responsible for , but not limited to:

• Maintain and support finance systems, ensuring data integrity, process efficiency, and optimal system performance.
• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial insights and analysis.
• Drive process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and finance transformation projects while acting as a key finance systems contact.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant (Systems) should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CA/CPA Qualification
• Experience in an accounting or systems related role
• Strong understanding of financial systems and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Knowledge of the property industry is advantageous.
