Learn the Business. Develop People. Take on Responsibility.
A management career starts with understanding how a business operates from the ground up. This Management Trainee opportunity is designed for someone who wants to gain practical knowledge of customer acquisition, campaign operations and performance before gradually moving into coaching and leadership responsibilities.
It is suited to someone who is ambitious, dependable and willing to learn through experience. The role provides a structured route to building commercial awareness and people skills, with additional responsibility introduced as capability is demonstrated.
Stage One — Learn
The first stage focuses on understanding the business, building strong working habits and becoming confident with day-to-day campaign activity.
- Learn how campaign operations are organised and delivered
- Develop practical customer acquisition and communication skills
- Understand company standards and client expectations
- Become familiar with KPIs and performance requirements
- Build commercial awareness through day-to-day experience
- Establish consistent, accountable and professional working habits
Stage Two — Lead
As experience develops, the role can begin to include responsibilities that involve supporting colleagues and contributing to team performance.
- Support newer team members as they learn their responsibilities
- Provide constructive feedback and practical guidance
- Assist with team training and knowledge sharing
- Help coordinate the work of a small team
- Monitor day-to-day activity and identify potential issues
- Contribute to resolving operational challenges
- Set a positive example of professional conduct
Stage Three — Develop
Further experience can provide exposure to campaign management, team planning, performance analysis and broader operational responsibilities. The aim is to build a practical understanding of how people, campaigns and business objectives work together.
Greater responsibility is earned through performance, capability, consistency and readiness, rather than being guaranteed by a set timeframe.
What We’ll Look For
- Takes ownership of commitments and follows through reliably
- Shows awareness of how actions can affect other people
- Makes considered decisions when situations require initiative
- Demonstrates self-discipline and strong personal organisation
- Remains composed when dealing with challenges or setbacks
- Responds constructively to feedback and uses it to improve
- Communicates clearly with colleagues and customers
- Takes initiative rather than waiting for every instruction
- Maintains a dependable approach in a busy environment
- Shows the potential to encourage and positively influence others
Previous management experience is not required. Experience in competitive sport, hospitality supervision, retail, sales, volunteering, university societies or other settings involving responsibility can be valuable. What matters most is a willingness to learn and take ownership of the opportunity.
What You’ll Get Back
- Structured coaching focused on management skills
- Practical experience across campaigns and customer acquisition
- Competitive base salary with performance rewards
- Regular team events and social activities
- Recognition for individual and team contributions
- Opportunities to take on broader responsibilities over time
- Experience that can support future leadership positions
