Management Trainee

JOB SUMMARY:
To be responsible to all administrative work in logistics, including warehouse operation, new project implementation, Operation Excellence, Data Analysis & Solution Design and support as part of the team of new customer implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Warehouse Operation

• Managing the delivery of service to fulfill different customer requirement.
• Understanding the contractual key performance index (KPI) and the relation to productivity, the calculation, monitoring KPIs and tracking productivity and taking corrective action.
• Using and master WMS in support of daily operation.
• Understanding the preparation f static cycle count and dynamic count.

Operation Excellence

• Prepare any warehouse related report for every project for analysis and identifying areas of improvement.
• Implementing the Continuous Process of Improvement (CPI).
• Collaborate cross functional departments to standardize processes and share the best practice.

Project Implementation

• Understanding the implementation methodology.
• Budgeting the implementation cost which including in project management fees, implementation cost & migration cost.
• Developing the project implementation plan with clear & achievable.
• Prepare Migration plan with details process flow and parties involved.

Data Analysis and Solution Design

• Gather, analyze, and interpret customer operational and transactional data to derive key insights.
• Develop logistics solutions coverage storage, handling, transportation, IT and automation that meet customer requirement and prepare proposal.
• Define strategies to achieve a winnable and competitive solution in supporting business development department to win new project.
• Prepare quotations and proposals for RFI/RFQ/RFP and customer presentations.
• Compare suppliers/vendors and negotiate for competitive pricing.
• Work with BD, Operations, IT, and customers to ensure the proposed solution is practical and achievable.
• Develop competitive solutions that help the company win new contracts/projects.
• Handle internal documentation and approvals, including NDA and contract processes.
• Ensure ISO/company compliance and proper documentation.

Others

• Handle new tasks or additional responsibility as and when required by the management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Graduate Diploma and above in Logistics/supply chain management or equivalent.
• Must be able to write and converse effectively in English & Mandarin (Dealing with Chinese Speaking clients)
• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply, training will be provided. Internship students (final year final sem) encouraged to apply, could be able to convert to permanent staff after internship completion.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
