Job Description

Tea Tang is seeking dynamic and motivated individuals to join our team as Management Trainees in the Value Added Business Unit (VABU) and Tea Division. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across key business functions while developing the skills and knowledge required for future leadership positions within the company.

The selected candidates will support daily operations, assist in business development and improvement initiatives, coordinate with relevant departments, and contribute to achieving business objectives. The training program will provide practical exposure to relevant operational processes, product development, and cross-functional activities, supporting long-term career growth within the company.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Agriculture, Food Science, or a related field.
• Internship experience or 1–2 years of experience in the tea industry, manufacturing, retail, marketing, or operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Confident personality with leadership potential.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English and Sinhala, both spoken and written.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work across different departments as required.
