Management Trainee (Data Science)

About the role

Assist Data Science team in developing, deploying, and maintaining data-driven solutions. Focus on building foundational capabilities in data analysis, machine learning, and business decision support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist data engineers in data acquisition and automation of data extraction tools
• Work with Python, SQL, and large datasets for analysis tasks
• Perform data mining, verification, and analysis, and summarize results clearly
• Support machine learning model development and validation
• Develop data visualizations and actionable insights
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Metrology, NPI, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
• Document and communicate analytical results to technical teams and management
• Resolve technical issues through data analysis, research, and solution recommendations
• Provide accurate and efficient analytical reports to support engineering decisions
• Conduct training for analytical tools, monitor usage, and resolve technical issues

About you

• Engineering problem solving skills, Statistics, data analytics, data mining, data processing and ML basics
• Must have: Python, SQL, CSS, visualization
• Good to have: Proficient Python/ JMP/ VBA EXCEL/ JS/ API/ HTML/ CSS, Experience with statistical modelling, machine learning and data mining techniques
• Must have: Strong learning agility and drive to take on challenges
• Must have: Committed to delivering within tight timelines
• Must have: Able to multitask across projects; results-driven with strong execution focus
• Must have: Flexible to work extended hours when required
• Good to have: Clear communication (written and verbal)
• Good to have: Effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
• Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing industry especially semiconductor
